Stefano’s broad experience in civil and corporate litigation covers judicial and administrative matters, arbitration, and mediation of disputes involving the financial system, capital markets, M&A, restructuring and insolvency (bankruptcy, in and out-of-court reorganization), credit recovery, contractual disputes, agribusiness and real estate – representing local and international clients. Stefano also assists with general auditing and advisory matters, legal opinions, debt restructuring and real estate transactions.

Major firms make a stand in ferocious battle for Avianca Brasil
Some of Brazil’s most prestigious firms have been enlisted in a fierce legal battle for Avianca Brasil as its restructuring proceedings – marked by judicial deadlock, thousands of grounded flights and growing debt – gained renewed momentum on Monday.
The airliner came to the edge of bankruptcy when its restructuring plan was suspended following an injunction last month, but an appeals court gave the green light for the deal yesterday.
